Job Description:The Events & Culture Experience Senior Manager works in close alignment with the Senior Director to support the overall operational, strategic, and commercial leadership of the department. Acting as a key deputy, the incumbent assists across all core responsibilities while driving commercial growth by implementing new communication benefits, cross-brand sponsorships, and a ticketing revenue-sharing framework. This role ensures seamless departmental execution, leadership continuity, and operational excellence to position the Giza Plateau as a premier world-class cultural venue.
*Key Responsibilities:Executive Alignment & Departmental Leadership Support: Strategic Collaboration & Alignment: Work in tandem with the Events & Culture Experience Senior Director across strategic planning, high-level decision-making, and day-to-day operations.
* Operational Leadership & Delegation: Support the Senior Director in managing departmental P&L targets and operational strategies, serving as the primary delegate and assuming department leadership in their absence.
* Organizational Continuity: Maintain high-level exposure across all departmental functions to ensure seamless execution, alignment, and operational continuity across long-term venue objectives.
Commercial Model Transformation & Revenue Generation:
- * Commercial Model Innovation: Drive the transformation of the commercial model by designing and implementing structured cross-brand sponsorships, new communication and media exposure packages, and innovative ticketing revenue-sharing frameworks.
- New Revenue Development: Proactively identify, cultivate, and close high-value business development and partnership opportunities to maximize venue utilization and profitability.
- Commercial Strategy & Pricing: Partner with commercial, marketing, and finance teams to structure competitive sales packages, booking policies, and revenue-maximizing pricing strategies.
Event Curation & Operational Execution:
- * Portfolio & Event Execution: Assist in curating, developing, and delivering a world-class portfolio of cultural programs, international concerts, luxury brand activations, and diplomatic functions.
- Calendar & Booking Oversight: Manage and maintain an accurate master booking calendar to optimize space utilization, avoid scheduling conflicts, and streamline client delivery workflows.
Stakeholder & Logistics Management:
- * Collaborate with corporate clients, external event organizers, government authorities, and internal teams to execute complex logistics while upholding heritage standards and cultural sensitivity.
Qualifications:
- * Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. (Master's degree is a plus).
- 10–12+ years of progressive management experience in event management, commercial strategy, or venue operations within iconic sites, luxury venues, or major cultural destinations.
- Demonstrated track record in commercial restructuring, partnership monetization, sponsorship acquisition, and revenue-sharing framework implementation.
- Strong strategic acumen, agility, and demonstrated readiness to drive departmental leadership and high-level decision-making.
- Outstanding negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder engagement skills dealing with corporate sponsors, promoters, and government entities.
