Job Description

Review tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications for joinery and woodwork packages

Perform accurate quantity take-offs for doors, wall paneling, ceilings, cabinetry, furniture, and custom millwork

Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, hardware, finishing, transportation, and installation
-
Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
-
Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions
-
Coordinate with design, production, and site teams to confirm feasibility and costs
-
Identify value engineering options and cost-saving alternatives
-
Track material price changes and maintain an updated cost database
-
Support project handover with estimate breakdowns and budgets
Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Applied Arts, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in estimation for woodwork and joinery, preferably in fit-out or contracting

Strong knowledge of wood types, veneers, laminates, MDF, hardware, and finishing methods
-
Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
-
Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD; experience with estimation software is a plus
-
Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines
-
Good English; Arabic is an advantage
