- Ensure site compliance with environmental laws, permits, and project requirements.
- Implement and maintain the Environmental Management Plan (EMP).
- Conduct environmental inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Monitor air, dust, noise, water, wastewater, soil, and other environmental impacts.
- Manage waste segregation, storage, recycling, and disposal.
- Maintain environmental records, permits, reports, and monitoring data.
- Investigate environmental incidents, spills, complaints, and non-conformities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly environmental reports.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, laboratories, and waste contractors.
- Conduct environmental awareness training and toolbox talks.
- Monitor subcontractor environmental compliance.
- Support environmental audits, inspections, permits, and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Track environmental KPIs and support sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant environmental experience, preferably in construction, infrastructure, oil & gas, MEP, or industrial projects.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, waste management, pollution control, and monitoring.
- ISO 14001 knowledge/certification is an advantage.
- Strong communication, reporting, inspection, and documentation skills.
