Join our TeamAbout this opportunity:We are strengthening our team within Mechanical Design and are looking for next generation creative engineers who will make sure we stay technology leaders in the telecom industry. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you are a member of a mechanical design team and participate in the design of Ericsson future products, like 5G and 6G radios. We develop an increasing number of products where every generation delivers improved value to our customers, with high demands on quality and robustness in harsh outdoor environments. Our solutions must be cost efficient and deliver top performance with regard to technology density (small and lightweight), usability, quality and sustainability.
In your role you will participate in pre-development activities where we study overall and detailed aspects of technology to come and as well be a member of product development projects aiming at a successful product to offer our customers. Some of your responsibilities will be performed individually, but most of them will be in cross-disciplinary teams both locally and globally. You typically interact with other technical disciplines such as Thermal, Interconnect, Printed Board Assembly, Industrial Design as well as mechanical suppliers/partners and Ericsson’s global production organization.
