Are you an experienced EMR/EHR professional with strong leadership skills and hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW)?
We’re looking for an EMR Team Lead to lead and develop our EMR team while driving system optimization, workflow improvement, user adoption, and continuous EMR enhancement.
üìå Position: EMR Team Lead
üîπ What You‚Äôll Do
• Lead, mentor, and develop the EMR team
• Oversee daily EMR support operations and support tickets
• Drive eCW optimization and workflow improvement initiatives
• Identify inefficiencies and improve clinical & operational workflows
• Coordinate with eClinicalWorks and external vendors
• Oversee EMR training, onboarding, and adoption
• Ensure EMR data integrity and governance
• Lead EMR-related projects, implementations, and change initiatives
• Partner with IT & Compliance on access, security, and HIPAA requirements
• Work closely with Operations, Clinical Leadership, Revenue Cycle, IT, Compliance, and Quality teams
üîπ Requirements
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field
‚úÖ 5+ years of EMR/EHR experience
‚úÖ 2+ years of leadership / supervisory / team lead experience
‚úÖ Strong understanding of ambulatory healthcare operations and clinical workflows
‚úÖ Experience supporting healthcare providers and staff within an EMR environment
‚úÖ Strong project management and organizational skills
‚úÖ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
‚úÖ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
⭐ Preferred
• Extensive eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience
• FQHC experience
• Healthcare technology team leadership experience
• Workflow optimization & process redesign experience
• EMR implementations, upgrades, or new module experience
• Healthcare analytics/reporting experience
• Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, or healthcare reporting platforms
• Experience with AI-assisted healthcare technologies and workflow automation
• Health Informatics certification
