Job Objective:
To manage and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities for elevators and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring safe operation, high performance, quick fault resolution, and customer satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and implement preventive and scheduled maintenance plans.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and electronic faults and determine appropriate solutions.
Supervise repair and maintenance work and ensure its quality.
Assign daily tasks to technicians and monitor their timely completion.
Lead the maintenance team, evaluate performance, and identify training needs.
Follow up on emergency calls and ensure a quick response and fault resolution.
Conduct site visits and inspect elevators to confirm their safety and operational condition.
Ensure the team complies with safety procedures and technical instructions.
Monitor spare-parts availability and submit requests for required materials.
Prepare maintenance, breakdown, and technical visit reports.
Analyse recurring faults and recommend permanent corrective solutions.
Communicate with customers, address their concerns, and provide technical explanations.
Coordinate with Projects, Warehouse, Procurement, and Customer Service departments.
Follow up on maintenance contracts and ensure all agreed services are delivered.
Support elevator modernisation and upgrading work when required.
Ensure compliance with approved technical specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Skills
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
Practical experience in elevator maintenance and fault diagnosis.
Experience in supervising technicians and managing field operations.
Good knowledge of elevator control systems and electrical and mechanical components.
Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency situations.
Proficiency in report preparation and Microsoft Office.
Valid driving licence and willingness to perform site visits and attend emergency calls.
