Role Description The Elementary School Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The teacher will plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons, aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives, to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching core subjects, assessing student progress, maintaining classroom discipline, and providing regular feedback to students and families. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum implementation, participate in staff meetings and professional development, and contribute to school events and activities. The role also involves creating an inclusive, safe, and engaging classroom environment that respects diverse backgrounds and learning needs.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Elementary Education skills, with experience managing and instructing young learners.
- Candidates should possess Curriculum Development and Education skills to design, adapt, and implement effective lesson plans and learning materials.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact clearly and respectfully with students, families, and colleagues.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Elementary Education, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching certification or license, meeting local or international standards.
- Experience working in multicultural or international school settings is an advantage.
- Ability to use basic educational technology and digital tools to support instruction and assessment.
- Strong classroom management, organizational skills, and a commitment to inclusive, student-centered teaching.
