Job Summary:
The Electronic / Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving electrical and electronic systems, machinery, and automated equipment to ensure maximum operational efficiency, safety, and reliability of production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and electronic equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in machinery, control systems, PLCs, sensors, drives, and automation equipment.
- Maintain electrical panels, motors, inverters, transformers, and power distribution systems.
- Diagnose equipment failures and identify root causes to minimize downtime.
- Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new machines and equipment.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvement initiatives to increase reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company regulations.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve equipment issues.
- Maintain maintenance records, reports, and spare parts inventory.
- Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects.
Support automation and Industry initiatives where applicable.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in industrial automation.
- Experience in electrical control panel design, wiring, and commissioning.
- Proficiency in reading and creating electrical schematics using EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar software.
- Experience with HMI/SCADA development (WinCC or equivalent) is preferred.
- Experience in machine commissioning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of IoT, Industry 4.0, data acquisition, and remote diagnostics is a strong advantage.
- Good command of English (written and spoken).
