Job Overview
We are looking for a Freelancing Educational Supervisor to join our Instructor Recruitment & Operations team. The Educational Supervisor will be responsible for evaluating teacher candidates through live demo sessions, assessing their teaching abilities, communication, classroom management, and overall suitability for the role.
The position combines live teaching observation, candidate interviewing, performance assessment, and recruitment decision-making to ensure we select instructors who meet our teaching and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend and lead live demo sessions with teacher candidates across different subjects and curricula.
- Act as a student during the demo, actively interacting with candidates to assess how they explain concepts, engage students, ask questions, and adapt their teaching approach.
- Evaluate candidates based on key teaching competencies, including: Subject / Curriculum knowledge and accuracy
- Explanation and communication skills
- Student engagement and interaction

- Make and document acceptance or rejection recommendations/decisions based on established recruitment and quality standards.
- identify recurring gaps in candidate performance and share insights with the recruitment team to improve candidate sourcing, screening, and selection processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, the relevant subject area, or a related field.
- Previous experience in teaching, academic supervision, teacher training, quality assurance, or instructor evaluation.
- Strong understanding of effective teaching methodologies and student-centered learning.
- Strong knowledge in different international educational systems.
- Strong observation and analytical skills with the ability to identify specific teaching strengths and weaknesses.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
