Overall Objective of the Job
The Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and timely transportation services while ensuring compliance with traffic regulations, company policies, and assigned schedules. The role includes maintaining the assigned vehicle in good condition and supporting transportation activities as required.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Drive assigned vehicles safely and responsibly according to approved routes and schedules.
- Transport employees, customers, documents, goods, or other items as assigned by the Direct Supervisor.
- Ensure timely arrivals, pickups, and deliveries according to the assigned schedule.
- Follow all traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company policies and procedures.
- Conduct routine checks of the assigned vehicle before and after use and report any mechanical issues or damage.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, safe, and in proper working condition.
- Monitor fuel levels, mileage, and vehicle maintenance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and other required vehicle documentation.
- Ensure all required vehicle documents, licenses, and permits are valid and available in the vehicle.
- Immediately report accidents, delays, vehicle breakdowns, or other transportation-related incidents to the Direct Supervisor.
- Support loading and unloading of items when required.
- Perform any other related tasks as requested by the Direct Supervisor.
Job Requirements
Educational Level / Required Certificates: Secondary school education preferred; a valid driving license is required.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant driving experience.
