Director – Corporate Tax Advisory | Dubai (Strictly Consulting background)

We are hiring a Director – Corporate Tax Advisory for a growing tax advisory practice in Dubai.
This is not a traditional delivery-focused role. The mandate is to build and grow the Corporate Tax practice, combining strong technical expertise with significant business development and commercial ownership.
What you will do
- Lead and build the Corporate Tax Advisory practice in Dubai
- Develop and execute a 1-year business plan for practice growth and revenue generation
- Drive new business development, client acquisition and relationship expansion
- Own the practice P&L, revenue growth and commercial performance
- Advise senior clients on UAE Corporate Tax, international tax, tax structuring and related advisory matters
- Lead complex engagements and ensure high-quality technical delivery
- Build relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, Tax Heads and senior stakeholders
- Identify cross-selling and referral opportunities
- Lead and develop the existing team, with autonomy to expand the team as the practice grows
What we're looking for
Must have:
- 8–10 years of strong Corporate Tax / International Tax Advisory experience
- Strong UAE/GCC Corporate Tax exposure
- Deep specialization in Corporate Tax — not a generalist tax profile
- Proven track record in business development and revenue generation
- Strong UAE market connectivity and senior client relationships
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to independently develop and execute a realistic business plan
- Confidence to build a practice and operate with significant autonomy
Preferred:
- Big 4 or leading tax/professional services background
- Existing UAE client network
- Prior practice-building, P&L or revenue ownership experience
- Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, CPA or equivalent
