Bevatel is seeking a motivated DevOps Engineer with a solid foundation in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our growing technical team. In this role, you will help build, maintain, and automate our cloud infrastructure while working closely with our developers.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management and maintenance of our Google Cloud infrastructure.
- Support the deployment and configuration of applications using Kubernetes.
- Learn to use Terraform to manage infrastructure as code.
- Help maintain and troubleshoot our CI/CD pipelines.
- Write and update scripts in Python or Bash to automate routine tasks.
- Monitor system performance and help ensure the stability of our applications.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand and support their infrastructure needs.
- Contribute to documentation and best practices for our DevOps workflows.
Requirements
- * Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of cloud concepts (GCP, AWS and/or Azure)
- Good understanding of any componentization framework (ex: Docker)
- Good understanding of component orchestration frameworks (ex: Kuberneates)
- Familiarity with at least one scripting language (Python or Bash).
- A solid grasp of basic networking principles and Linux command-line tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Eagerness to learn and a strong interest in DevOps tools and methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
