Role Description The Design Concept Head of Unit (Architect) will lead the creative and strategic design direction for projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and brand identity. This full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Maadi involves overseeing design concepts from initial brief through execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and managing design workflows and timelines. Day-to-day tasks include developing and presenting design proposals, supervising interior and architectural design work, and guiding visual and product design decisions. The role also includes reviewing technical drawings, ensuring design quality and consistency, and mentoring team members to maintain high standards of innovation and delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Design Management, with experience leading design teams and overseeing project pipelines.
- Proficiency in Visual Design and Branding to create cohesive and impactful design concepts.
- 15 years of Experience in Product Design, with the ability to translate user needs and business goals into functional design solutions.
- Solid background in Interior Design, including space planning, materials selection, and coordination with architectural requirements.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Architecure.
- Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or similar software).
- Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated experience in leading conceptual design for commercial or residential projects in an on-site setting.
