Construction & Major Projects
Sumer Hills, part of Raban Al Safina Group, is seeking a Deputy Managing Director to support executive leadership and coordinate the delivery and commercial performance of a large construction project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive implementation of company plans and coordinate project and functional management teams.
- Monitor schedules, cost forecasts, resource plans and contractual commitments across concurrent projects.
- Resolve interfaces between design, procurement, site operations, commercial teams and subcontractors.
- Lead delivery reviews, recovery actions and escalation of material risks.
- Support tendering, contract administration, variations, cash-flow planning and client relations.
- Strengthen operating procedures, management reporting, quality and safety oversight within delegated authority.
Requirements
- Proven senior leadership in a sizeable construction or contracting company.
- Direct experience coordinating large projects or multiple construction sites and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong understanding of construction operations, project controls and engineering and procurement interfaces.
- Commercial capability covering budgets, contracts, subcontractors, variations and project profitability.
- Demonstrated ability to lead managers, solve delivery problems and maintain disciplined execution.
Preferred: A relevant engineering or construction management degree; experience as a deputy executive, operations director or project portfolio leader.
