Role Description The Demi Chef De Partie is a full-time, on-site role based in Manama, responsible for supporting the Chef De Partie in the daily operation of a specific kitchen section. This role involves preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes to established standards, following recipes and hotel guidelines. The Demi Chef De Partie assists in mise en place, maintains hygiene and safety practices, and ensures the workstation is clean, organized, and well-stocked. The role includes checking quality and freshness of ingredients, collaborating with kitchen team members, and helping train junior staff when required. The Demi Chef De Partie may also assist with inventory checks, portion control, and communication with service staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
Qualifications
- Professional culinary training or certification from a recognized institution, or equivalent hands-on experience in hotel or restaurant kitchens.
- Solid understanding of basic cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Ability to follow recipes, plating guidelines, and portion standards while maintaining consistency and quality.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
