A leading international law firm is looking to hire a Debt Capital Markets Associate Solicitor c.3 - 5 pqe into its established Dubai practice.
The role offers exposure to a broad range of sophisticated conventional and Islamic DCM transactions across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and wider Middle East, working with major regional and international financial institutions, corporates and other issuers.
The work will include:
▪ Conventional bond and Sukuk issuances
▪ EMTN and other debt issuance programmes
▪ Regulatory capital, including AT1 and Tier 2 issuances
▪ Islamic capital markets and Sukuk structures
▪ Liability management, tender and exchange offers
▪ Bond restructurings and amendments
▪ Corporate and hybrid debt instruments
▪ Cross-border and emerging markets transactions
The team has a particularly strong regional profile across Islamic capital markets, financial institution issuances and regulatory capital, including exposure to innovative and first-of-their-kind transactions.
The firm is looking for an Associate with strong DCM experience, ideally gained with a leading international law firm. Experience across conventional DCM and/or Sukuk would be particularly relevant.
Existing Middle East experience would be advantageous, although strong candidates looking to relocate to Dubai from London or another major international market would also be considered.
