Responsibilities, Duties, and Tasks:
- Supervise, Manage, administrate, and implement the below systems:
Systems & Infrastructure Administration
Oversee, manage, administer, and implement the following platforms and technologies:
- Microsoft Services
- Office 365 administration
- Active Directory management and Group Policy administration
- Windows Server administration, including DHCP and DNS services
- File Share and access management
- SMTP Server administration
- SharePoint Server administration
- Virtualization & Cloud Platforms
- VMware environments
- Azure VMware Solution (AVS)
- Site Recovery Manager (SRM)
- Nutanix infrastructure
- Microsoft Azure Cloud services
- Computer, Storage & Backup
- Cisco UCS administration
- Enterprise Data Storage Administration
- Deduplication disk solutions
- Backup and restore solutions including:
- Veeam Backup & Replication
- Commvault
- NTBackup
- Operating Systems
- Linux Red Hat administration
- Monitoring & Endpoint Management
- ManageEngine OpManager (infrastructure monitoring)
- ManageEngine Endpoint Management (Patch Management solution)
- Supervise and manage network load balancers to ensure high availability and optimal traffic distribution.
- Ensure full adherence to DP World Global IT policies, standards, and procedures.
- Monitor and audit server operating systems and hardware to ensure compliance, performance, and stability
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure incidents in line with Data Center incident management processes,
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, in adherence to Data Center processes regarding incident tracking, response, and documentation.
- Manage the disaster recovery process including regular schedule fail over tests
- Monitor all data center assets for tracking information.
- Coordinate with vendors and resource engineers and ensure effective completion of all installation hardware at various data centers.
- Manage and coordinate activities related to hardware decommissioning, rack moves and services migration within various Data Centers.
- Assist the help desk and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root cause and provide technical support when needed.
- Monitor the servers and performance to ensure 24x7 operations and resolving service impacts as they occur.
- Oversee capacity planning for the current severs farm and prepare the forecasting
- Prepare and manage Data Center forecast budgets, ensuring cost optimization and alignment with business requirements.
- Prepare and update Disaster Recovery and backup restoration plans.
- Lead and ensure the implementation of system hardening standards across all servers and client systems, in alignment with security and compliance requirements.
Qualifications and Certificates:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science.
- VMware Certification (e.g., VCP or higher)
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or equivalent Microsoft certification
- Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Certification
- Data Storage Certification
Experience and Knowledge:
- 7:10 years of experience in the same roles
- V. Good knowledge for the mentioned systems.
Skills and Abilities:
