The Cybersecurity Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the organization’s cybersecurity framework to ensure that information systems, networks, data, and technology assets are appropriately protected against cybersecurity risks and threats. The role will manage cybersecurity governance, risk, compliance, vulnerability remediation, security policies, incident response, and continuous improvement activities, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and applicable regulatory requirements.
The position will work closely with senior management, internal stakeholders, IT teams, and third parties to integrate cybersecurity requirements into business continuity and disaster recovery, new technologies, IT systems, outsourcing, and other business initiatives. The Cybersecurity Manager will also provide clear reporting on the organization’s cybersecurity posture, promote security awareness, and ensure appropriate resources and controls are in place to support the organization’s cybersecurity objectives.
