We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Epic Owner / Technical Project Manager to take a key role in the late-stage cybersecurity activities of an automotive platform project, with a strong focus on achieving UNECE R155 Vehicle Type Approval (VTA).
The role requires a combination of automotive cybersecurity expertise, technical project leadership, regulatory compliance knowledge, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity activities to ensure vehicle development is aligned with and compliant with UNECE R155 requirements.
- Drive cybersecurity work toward successful Vehicle Type Approval (VTA).
- Identify, assess, and manage cybersecurity compliance risks and define appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Develop and manage short- and long-term plans for cybersecurity-related epics and activities.
- Ensure cybersecurity activities are completed according to agreed timelines and project milestones.
- Coordinate dependencies across Product Owners, Epic Owners, cybersecurity architects, engineering teams, certification teams, project governance, and external partners.
- Support vehicle cybersecurity architects in completing the required Product Cybersecurity (PCS) Case before Vehicle Type Approval.
- Participate in and present cybersecurity evidence during audits, assessments, certification activities, and Vehicle Type Approval discussions.
- Ensure required cybersecurity documentation and compliance evidence are complete and ready for approval.
Required Qualifications
- * Strong experience in automotive cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with UNECE R155 and automotive cybersecurity compliance.
- Demonstrated experience in cybersecurity vehicle type approval audits and/or cybersecurity certification processes.
- Experience supporting or preparing cybersecurity documentation and evidence for Vehicle Type Approval.
- Strong technical project management and technical leadership skills.
- Experience leading and coordinating complex, cross-functional engineering activities.
- Strong risk management, planning, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical experts, management, certification teams, and external stakeholders.
Meritorious Qualifications
- * Experience with ISO/SAE 21434.
- Experience with automotive cybersecurity cases, compliance evidence, or cybersecurity assurance processes.
- Previous experience working with OEM vehicle development processes.
- Experience working with large-scale automotive platform or vehicle development programs.
