Role Description The Cost Accounting Supervisor role at ASWAQ Developments is a full-time, on-site position based in Qesm El Sherouk. The supervisor will oversee cost accounting activities related to construction projects, including tracking project costs, analyzing variances, and ensuring accurate cost allocation across residential, commercial, and administrative developments. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing cost reports, collaborating with project managers and site engineers to validate cost data, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. The role also involves monitoring adherence to accounting policies, improving cost control procedures, and providing management with timely financial insights to support decision-making. The Cost Accounting Supervisor will lead and mentor cost accounting staff and coordinate with the finance and project management teams to ensure consistent, reliable reporting.
Qualifications
* Strong cost accounting expertise in the construction industry, including Cost Accounting and Accounting skills.
* Ability to prepare, review, and interpret Financial Statements, with solid Finance knowledge.
* Advanced Analytical Skills to evaluate project costs, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
* Minimum 10 years of experience in cost accounting within the construction or real estate development sector.
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is an advantage.
* Experience supervising accounting teams and coordinating with project stakeholders.
* Proficiency in ERP or construction accounting systems and MS Excel.
* Ability to work on-site in Qesm El Sherouk and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
