Title: Corporate Credit Manager

About the Client
Our client, a leading regional bank, is looking for a Corporate Credit Manager to join its Risk function in Riyadh. You will review and approve corporate lending, keep the wholesale portfolio healthy, and make sure every exposure meets the bank’s risk appetite, credit policy, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review corporate credit applications for fit with the bank’s strategy, risk appetite, and credit policy
- Approve facilities and limit excesses within your delegated authority, and recommend larger proposals to senior management
- Shape deal structures with relationship teams, including industry, sector, and counterparty risk analysis
- Engage directly with borrowers, including on-site visits, to validate the business case behind each request
- Watch the portfolio closely, spot early warning signs, and recommend downgrades, provisions, or remedial action
- Drive resolution of overdue exposures, limit breaches, documentation gaps, and lapsed reviews, including rescheduling where needed
- Ensure all lending complies with internal policy and SAMA regulations
- Act as the credit point of contact for senior business stakeholders, audit teams, and the regulator, and lead special credit initiatives as required
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking, Finance, or a related field
- 5–10 years in banking, including at least 5 years in corporate or wholesale credit
- Strong credit analysis skills across financial statements, cash flow, and industry risk
- Solid knowledge of credit policy, credit structuring, and Saudi banking regulations
- Track record of credit approvals and portfolio monitoring, including early-warning and remedial cases
- Relevant banking or credit certifications are a plus
