Role Description The Contracts Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, responsible for overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of contracts across CG’s projects. This role includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, consultants, and vendors to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with company standards. The Contracts Manager monitors contract performance, manages amendments and renewals, and supports project teams in interpreting contractual obligations and risk mitigation strategies. Daily activities involve coordinating with legal, finance, and project management teams, maintaining accurate contract records and documentation, and preparing reports and summaries for leadership. The role also contributes to continuous improvement of contract templates, policies, and procedures to support efficient project delivery.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in contract drafting, review, and negotiation, with a strong understanding of commercial terms and conditions.
- Experience in contract administration, including tracking milestones, managing variations, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills, with the ability to identify contractual issues and propose practical solutions.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and external partners.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Engineering, or a related field; professional certifications in contract management (e.g., NCMA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in architecture, engineering, construction, or consulting environments is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in standard office software and contract management tools, and strong written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are an asset.
