We are looking for a creative and beauty-obsessed Content Executive to join our Editorial & Content team at Ounass.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands the world of beauty and knows how to turn products, trends and brand stories into content that inspires customers to discover, engage and shop.
From the latest skincare innovation and cult fragrance launches to makeup trends, haircare and wellness, you will help bring the Ounass Beauty universe to life across our digital platforms. Working closely with Editorial, Creative, Buying, Marketing and our brand partners, you will create compelling copy and storytelling that strengthens Ounass as a leading luxury Beauty destination in the Middle East.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create engaging and commercially relevant Beauty content across Ounass' website and App, including weekly site refreshes, brand launches, product launches and key Beauty moments.
- Write elevated and creative copy across skincare, makeup, fragrance, haircare and wellness, balancing editorial storytelling with commercial objectives.
- Create Beauty editorial content including how-to guides, routines, product edits, trend-led features and educational content.
- Support the development and management of the Beauty content calendar, ensuring content remains relevant to launches, trends, seasonal moments and marketing priorities.
- Contribute ideas for cross-platform Beauty campaigns, brand exclusives and seasonal storytelling.
- Understand and adapt to different luxury Beauty brands' tone of voice while maintaining the overall Ounass voice and customer experience.
- Stay close to emerging Beauty trends, product innovations, ingredients, cultural shifts and changing customer behaviours to bring fresh ideas to the team.
- Work closely with Beauty Buying, Creative, Marketing, Editorial, Merchandising and Project Management teams to deliver content and campaigns seamlessly.
- Collaborate with Beauty brand partners to gather assets, product information and key messaging to support launches and storytelling opportunities.
- Support creative briefs for Beauty shoots, video, creator and expert-led content.
- Review campaign and content performance to understand what resonates with our customers and use these insights to strengthen future content.
- Ensure all content is accurate, engaging and delivered to a consistently high editorial standard.
What We’re Looking For
- * Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Fashion or a related field. Beauty, cosmetic science or make-up artistry training would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in copywriting, content creation or editorial, ideally within Beauty, luxury, e-commerce, publishing or a Beauty brand/retailer.
- A genuine passion for Beauty and strong knowledge across skincare, makeup, fragrance, haircare and wellness.
- Good understanding of Beauty terminology, ingredients, formulations, products and emerging trends.
- Strong awareness of luxury and prestige Beauty brands, as well as niche and trend-led brands.
- An understanding of the GCC Beauty customer and the trends shaping the regional Beauty landscape.
- Excellent written English, grammar, proofreading and attention to detail.
- Strong editorial instinct with an appreciation for visual storytelling.
- Ability to adapt your writing style across different brands, audiences, campaigns and digital platforms.
- Awareness of social-first and video-led Beauty content, including tutorials, routines, creator content and emerging formats.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how great content can influence customer engagement and conversion.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Collaborative, curious and full of ideas, with the confidence to bring a fresh perspective to Beauty storytelling.
