We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our leading healthcare facility in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in assessing, diagnosing, and managing a wide range of mental health conditions while providing patient-centered psychiatric care.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and clinical evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide medication management and monitor treatment response.
- Manage complex and long-term psychiatric cases.
- Provide appropriate crisis intervention and emergency psychiatric care.
- Offer psychotherapy or coordinate psychological interventions where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with psychologists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Counsel patients and families regarding treatment options and ongoing care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
RequirementsQualifications & Requirements
- * MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- MD/DNB/MRCPsych or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry.
- Significant post-specialization experience at Consultant level.
- Strong experience in managing complex psychiatric conditions.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary mental healthcare team
