Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Consultant in Ophthalmology role based in Egypt. The consultant will provide comprehensive ophthalmic care, including outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, and surgical procedures for a diverse patient population. Daily responsibilities include conducting detailed eye examinations, diagnosing and managing ocular diseases, developing treatment plans, and performing appropriate interventions. The role may involve supervising junior doctors, teaching medical students and residents, and participating in departmental meetings and case discussions. The consultant is also expected to contribute to quality improvement initiatives, maintain accurate medical records, and uphold clinical governance and patient safety standards.
