Role Description The Commercial Manager Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm Heliopolis. The role involves overseeing commercial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, cost control, and financial planning to ensure project profitability and compliance with contractual obligations. The Commercial Manager Engineer will review and manage contracts, prepare commercial reports, monitor project performance, and support negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with project managers and engineering teams, analyzing risks and opportunities, and implementing commercial strategies that align with company objectives. The role also requires contributing to business planning, supporting bids and tenders, and promoting effective communication and collaboration across teams.
Qualifications
- * Strong commercial management and contract management skills, with experience overseeing project budgets, contracts, and cost control.
- Solid analytical skills and business planning capabilities to evaluate project performance, forecast outcomes, and support strategic decisions.
- Proven team management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and foster a cooperative, results-oriented work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering field.
- Experience in the construction industry, preferably in commercial or project management roles.
- Proficiency in relevant project management and office software (e.g., MS Excel, MS Project, cost management tools).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Qesm Heliopolis and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
