A boutique international disputes practice with a strong cross‑border and Asia‑focused client base is seeking to appoint a Barrister or Common Law qualified Solicitor (1–6 years’ pqe) to join its growing team in Dubai.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and technically gifted lawyer at Associate level seeking high‑quality international work, close client contact, and accelerated responsibility within a lean, partner‑led environment.
The Practice
The firm is a specialist disputes boutique known for handling complex commercial litigation, international arbitration, and multi‑jurisdictional matters across the Middle East, Asia, Singapore and Europe. The team regularly acts on high‑value cross‑border disputes, enforcement actions, asset‑recovery matters, fraud‑related disputes, and strategic advisory mandates for corporates, funds, and UHNW clients.
The partners are recognised for their work in international arbitration, commercial disputes, and cross‑border investigations, with a track record of leading matters across multiple jurisdictions and coordinating strategy in high‑stakes, multi‑forum litigation.
The Role
You will work directly with partners on a broad range of contentious matters, including:
- International commercial arbitration
- Cross‑border commercial litigation (DIFC litigation experience)
- Enforcement, asset‑tracing, and fraud‑related matters
- Complex advisory work involving multi‑jurisdictional issues
- Drafting submissions, research, evidence preparation, and client strategy support
The role offers hands‑on exposure, client interaction, and the chance to develop quickly within

Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will be:
- 1- 6 years’ pqe
- Called to the English Bar or Solicitor England & Wales
- Ideally experience in Dubai or UK with solid commercial litigation experience.
- Strong drafting skills, analytical ability, and comfort working in a fast‑moving disputes environment
- Interested in developing an international practice and relocating to Dubai if not already on the ground
- Confident, commercially minded, and able to work closely with partners in a tight‑knit team
