Job Summary
The Commercial Director will provide strategic, operational, and financial leadership to drive sustainable growth, operational excellence, and market competitiveness. The Commercial Director will be responsible for setting the company vision, leading executive teams, optimizing business performance, and ensuring strong governance across all business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company’s strategic vision, business plans, and long-term growth initiatives
- Lead overall business operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and service excellence
- Drive revenue growth, business expansion, and market positioning within the facilities management sector
- Oversee financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and cost optimization
- Build and lead high-performing executive leadership teams across operations, finance, commercial, HR, and support functions
- Strengthen client relationships, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder engagement
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and service innovations
- Ensure operational excellence, service quality, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Oversee risk management, corporate governance, legal compliance, and internal controls
- Report business performance, strategic initiatives, and organizational progress to the Board of Directors/shareholders
- Lead organizational transformation, digitalization, and operational improvement initiatives where needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 12+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5+ years in executive leadership roles
- Strong experience in facilities management, property management, real estate services, operations, or related industries
- Proven track record in P&L management, business growth, and operational leadership
- Strong financial acumen and strategic planning capabilities
- Experience managing large-scale operations, multi-site service delivery, and workforce-intensive environments
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and business development skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making capabilities
- Knowledge of regional market dynamics, regulations, and operational frameworks is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading transformation or turnaround initiatives
- Familiarity with government, corporate, or enterprise client management
- Experience in service contracts, tendering, and commercial negotiations
