What You’ll Do
- Live our safety-first mindset every shift and follow all policies, PPE, and procedures.
- Manage and track sheet metal and parts inventory using established control methods.
- Handle sheet metal and operate material handling equipment with care to protect people, equipment, and product quality.
- Perform complex setups on CNC laser and press brake, recalling/editing programs and dialing in offsets to meet quality and throughput targets.
- Cut, bend, punch, drill, and deburr components to spec using engineering drawings and documented practices.
- Plan work, prioritize tasks, and meet production schedule commitments.
- Cross-train across operations and coach less-experienced teammates.
- Conduct and document inspections and tests to verify conformance.
- Stage and prepare parts for handoff to the next internal customer.
- Own housekeeping, safety checks, and user-level maintenance of all equipment.
- Record time and material usage accurately for production reporting.
Who You Are
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree a plus.
- 3–5 years setting up and operating CNC laser and press brake equipment.
- Comfortable reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Proficient with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, protractors).
- A collaborative teammate with strong English communication and solid organization skills.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
- Physically able to perform all job tasks and lift at least 30 lbs.
- Knowledgeable in workholding, tooling, and safe machining practices.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Basic computer skills; able to navigate Windows systems.
Shifts
1st Shift- Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm
2nd Shift- Monday- Thursday 4:20pm-2:50am
