Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Jabriya. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and supervising civil engineering works, including infrastructure, utilities, and site development projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed drawings and specifications, coordinating with project managers and site teams, and ensuring designs comply with local codes and standards. The role involves planning project phases, monitoring progress, and resolving technical issues that arise during construction. The Civil Engineer will also participate in site inspections, quality assurance checks, and communication with clients, consultants, and suppliers to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
Qualifications
* Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering skills for planning, analyzing, and delivering safe and efficient project solutions.
* Experience working as Civil Engineers on construction or infrastructure projects, including coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
* Planning skills to organize project activities, manage timelines, and prioritize tasks across multiple assignments.
* Stormwater Management knowledge to design and assess drainage systems, water flow, and related environmental considerations.
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
* Proficiency in relevant engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools); familiarity with local building codes and standards.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
* Effective communication skills for working with site teams, contractors, and clients, and the ability to work on-site in Jabriya.
* Prior experience in construction contracting or infrastructure development is an advantage.
