Company Description
New Texas Specialized Building Systems is an Abu Dhabi-based company providing general contracting, general maintenance and waterproofing systems. Our site teams deliver construction and waterproofing works with a strong focus on quality, safety and reliable project delivery.
Role Description
We are hiring a Civil Engineer for a full-time, on-site role in Abu Dhabi. You will work with our site team on construction and waterproofing works, covering site supervision, quality control and project documentation.
Responsibilities:
• Supervise construction and waterproofing works on site
• Carry out site inspections and quality checks (QA/QC)
• Check drawings and specifications; prepare shop drawings in AutoCAD
• Prepare quantity take-offs, measurements and progress reports
• Prepare material submittals, inspection requests and daily site reports
• Coordinate with foremen, subcontractors and suppliers on site
• Follow HSE rules and site safety procedures
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; open to fresh graduates and experienced engineers
• Currently in Abu Dhabi and able to join as soon as possible
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Good spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage
• Willing to work on site; responsible, organised and a fast learner
• Advantage: site experience or an internship in construction or waterproofing, UAE driving licence, Primavera / Revit knowledge
