About LiL NomstersLiL Nomsters is a kids-only cloud kitchen in Dubai, preparing fresh, made-from-scratch meals, snacks, school lunchboxes, and dinners exclusively for children.
We are looking for an experienced Indian & Chinese Cuisine Chef with strong hands-on expertise in both cuisines. We specifically require experience in authentic Chinese cooking, not only Indo-Chinese cuisine.
Key Responsibilities Prepare a wide variety of fresh Indian and authentic Chinese dishes* for children. * Prepare curries, rice dishes, breads, proteins, stir-fries, noodles, dumplings, sauces, soups, and other dishes across both cuisines. * Adapt flavours, spice levels, textures, and presentation to make dishes suitable and appealing for children. * Prepare both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. * Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portion size, and presentation. * Contribute new and creative kid-friendly dishes and menu ideas. * Follow recipes and daily production schedules accurately. * Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and stock rotation. * Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate production.
What We're Looking For Minimum 3 years of professional culinary experience. * Strong hands-on expertise in both Indian and authentic Chinese cuisine. * Chinese cuisine experience should extend beyond only Indo-Chinese cooking. * Experience cooking for children, schools, nurseries, or family-focused food businesses is highly preferred. * Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene. * Creative, organised, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen. * Comfortable working 6 days a week. * Comfortable working in a small startup environment where flexibility and teamwork are essential. * PIC certification is an advantage.*
We are looking for someone who understands that cooking for children requires the right balance of flavour, texture, nutrition, and creativity.
