Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled CAD Operator to support the delivery of a major transport infrastructure and utilities supervision project in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). The ideal candidate will have dominant and extensive experience in transport infrastructure and utility projects and be proficient in preparing and updating engineering drawings in coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
ResponsibilitiesThe CAD Operator will be responsible for the preparation, modification and management of engineering drawings related to roads, utilities and infrastructure works. The role requires strong experience in transport infrastructure projects involving dry and wet utility networks, ensuring drawings are produced and maintained in accordance with project standards and client requirements.
- Prepare, revise and maintain CAD drawings for roads, utilities and infrastructure works.
- Develop and update shop drawing records, as-built drawings and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers, inspectors and project teams to incorporate design and site changes.
- Ensure compliance with project drafting standards, procedures and quality requirements.
- Maintain drawing registers and document control processes.
- Support multidisciplinary coordination across utility and roadway packages.
- Review contractor-submitted CAD drawings for completeness and accuracy.
- Generate plan, profile, cross-section and utility layout drawings.
Qualifications
- * Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology or related discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of CAD drafting experience.
- Dominant and extensive experience on transport infrastructure and utilities projects.
- Strong experience with roadway, stormwater, sewerage, water supply, power, telecom and utility corridor drawings.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure developments and supervision projects.
- GCC experience, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong attention to detail and coordination skills.
