Our client is an international industrial group with several sites across Europe. To strengthen its procurement function, they are looking for an experienced Buyer to join a small, agile team of three and take ownership of a broad purchasing portfolio.
Your scope
You will manage a significant spend of around €150M, covering a diverse range of service and operational categories, with direct impact on the group's performance and cost base.
Your key responsibilities
Lead sourcing activities end to end: market analysis, RFQs, negotiation and contracting
Manage and develop the supplier panel, including rationalisation and the onboarding of new partners
Drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): performance reviews, load/capacity assessment, risk monitoring
Define category strategies and long-term agreements (LTAs) with productivity plans
Run Total Cost of Ownership analyses and cost modelling to support decisions
Identify and propose technical savings opportunities
Bring innovation from the supplier market into the business
Develop purchasing synergies across multiple sites
Ensure clear reporting on savings, supplier performance and KPIs
Profil
RequirementsSolid (from 3/5 years) operational experience as a Buyer in an industrial or multi-site environment
Experience purchasing services and outsourced operations is a strong plus
Fluent English (C1/C2) – comfortable negotiating and reporting internationally
Highly autonomous: you structure your own priorities and take decisions in a lean organisation
Analytical mindset with strong TCO and cost-modelling skills
Proactive, results-driven and at ease building long-term supplier relationships
