About the Role
We are looking for a Veterinarian with strong business development and communication skills to drive the growth of our animal genomics services across Saudi Arabia. The role involves regular field visits and direct engagement with horse and camel owners, breeders, farms, veterinary clinics, and other stakeholders in the animal health and breeding sectors. The successful candidate will identify new business opportunities, build long-term relationships, and introduce genetic testing solutions tailored to the needs of the market.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development activities for animal genomics and genetic testing services.
- Conduct regular field visits to farms, breeding facilities, veterinary clinics, equestrian establishments, and other potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with breeders, farm owners, veterinarians, and industry stakeholders.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential partnerships across the animal health, breeding, equine, and livestock sectors.
- Present and explain animal genetic testing services and their applications to clients and industry stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and coordinate with scientific and operational teams to provide appropriate solutions.
- Follow up on leads, opportunities, partnerships, and client accounts to support revenue growth.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities within the animal genomics and veterinary sectors.
- Represent the company at relevant industry events, exhibitions, conferences, and field activities.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, opportunities, and market feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine is required.
- 3–5 years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or a related commercial role.
- Experience in veterinary services, animal health, livestock, equine, animal breeding, or a related sector is highly preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and maintain client relationships.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly for field visits across Saudi Arabia.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
- Good understanding of veterinary and animal health concepts, with the ability to learn and communicate genetic testing concepts effectively.
- A valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
