About the RoleLXD is looking for a Brand Safety & IP Specialist / IP Lawyer with strong expertise in Intellectual Property, Copyright, Content Licensing, and Digital Media.
You’ll work closely with our editorial, production, and management teams to assess legal risks, ensure platform compliance, protect content, and provide practical legal guidance in a fast-paced international environment.
Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate content licensing, UGC, and commercial agreements. * Assess copyright, brand safety, reputational, and monetization risks. * Monitor and apply policies across Meta, YouTube, and Snapchat. * Conduct legal research and prepare clear legal memos. * Handle copyright claims, strikes, disputes, and platform appeals. * Provide practical legal guidance to non-legal teams. * Review agreements with a fast turnaround of 2–3 days maximum*.
Requirements Bachelor's AND Master's degree in Law. * Specialization in IP, Media Law, Copyright, AI, or Business Law is preferred. * Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken. * French is required/strongly preferred* for this bilingual role. * Previous experience in IP/Copyright law within a law firm or company. * Experience in digital media, content production, or Brand Safety is a strong plus. * Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and manage high-volume workflows. * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and legal databases. * Bar qualification and/or PhD is a strong plus.
