Position Overview
The Brand Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing brand strategies that strengthen brand positioning, awareness, customer engagement, and commercial performance. The role oversees brand identity, marketing campaigns, product launches, customer insights, content direction, and brand communications across relevant channels. The Brand Manager works closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, Creative, Digital, Public Relations, Customer Service, and senior management teams to ensure consistent brand positioning and effective execution of business and marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- * Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies aligned with company objectives, target markets, customer needs, and commercial goals.
- Define and maintain brand positioning, value propositions, key messages, tone of voice, and overall brand direction.
- Develop clear brand guidelines covering visual identity, messaging, communication standards, content, and customer-facing materials.
- Ensure consistent application of brand identity across digital platforms, advertising, social media, retail environments, packaging, events, communications, and other customer touchpoints.
- Conduct market, consumer, competitor, industry, and trend research to identify opportunities and support brand strategy.
- Analyse customer behaviour, preferences, purchasing patterns, feedback, and market segments to improve brand positioning and communication.
- Develop customer personas, target audience profiles, segmentation strategies, and customer journey insights.
- Plan and execute integrated brand campaigns across digital marketing, social media, advertising, content, PR, events, retail, partnerships, and other relevant channels.
- Develop creative briefs and collaborate with internal Creative, Design, Content, Digital, and Marketing teams to deliver campaign assets.
- Coordinate with external creative agencies, advertising agencies, PR agencies, media partners, influencers, production companies, and other suppliers.
- Lead brand campaigns from initial concept and planning through execution, monitoring, evaluation, and post-campaign analysis.
- Support new product and service launches by developing positioning, messaging, launch plans, promotional materials, and communication strategies.
- Coordinate seasonal campaigns, promotional activities, activations, exhibitions, sponsorships, events, and brand partnerships.
- Work closely with Product and Sales teams to ensure product benefits, customer value propositions, and sales messaging are clearly communicated.
- Develop and maintain brand content across websites, social media, advertising, presentations, brochures, retail materials, and other communication channels.
- Monitor brand performance using metrics such as awareness, engagement, reach, traffic, leads, conversion, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue contribution where applicable.
- Analyse campaign performance and provide recommendations to improve effectiveness, customer engagement, and return on marketing investment.
- Monitor competitors, market developments, consumer trends, emerging channels, and changes in customer expectations.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen brand differentiation, market presence, customer loyalty, and competitive positioning.
- Gather and analyse customer feedback, reviews, research findings, sales feedback, and market insights to support brand improvements.
- Support brand architecture, portfolio strategy, product naming, packaging, pricing communication, and positioning decisions where applicable.
- Ensure all marketing and brand materials meet company standards, legal requirements, regulatory guidelines, and approved brand policies.
- Maintain organised brand assets, templates, guidelines, campaign materials, photography, video, design files, and approved marketing resources.
- Manage campaign budgets, timelines, resources, purchase orders, agency costs, and marketing-related expenditure.
- Prepare brand performance reports, campaign reviews, market analysis, management presentations, and strategic recommendations.
- Present brand strategies, campaign concepts, research findings, performance results, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure brand initiatives are delivered on time and according to agreed objectives.
- Support public relations, influencer marketing, partnerships, sponsorships, exhibitions, and corporate events where relevant to brand strategy.
- Monitor customer experience across key touchpoints and identify opportunities to improve brand perception and consistency.
- Stay updated on digital marketing, social media, consumer behaviour, technology, creative trends, and developments within the relevant industry.
- Protect confidential business, customer, product, campaign, financial, and strategic information.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and develop innovative approaches to strengthen brand performance and market presence.
Requirements
- * Diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Brand Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Brand Management, Marketing, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Consumer Marketing, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy, positioning, segmentation, customer insights, campaign planning, and integrated marketing.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing and brand campaigns.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing, social media, content marketing, advertising, public relations, events, and customer engagement.
- Experience working with creative teams, designers, content creators, advertising agencies, PR agencies, media partners, and external vendors.
- Strong market research and competitor analysis skills with the ability to translate insights into practical brand strategies.
- Strong understanding of brand identity, creative direction, messaging, storytelling, and customer experience.
- Experience managing marketing budgets, campaign timelines, agencies, suppliers, and multiple projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance, customer data, market research, and business KPIs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, stakeholder-management, and project-management skills.
- Strong creative thinking combined with commercial awareness and a customer-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel; experience with marketing analytics, CRM, social media, or project management platforms is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, campaigns, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Experience in luxury, retail, FMCG, hospitality, automotive, technology, consumer goods, or other customer-facing industries is an advantage.
