Role Description The Bodyshop Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bodyshop and ensuring high-quality repair and refinishing services. This role includes managing bodyshop staff, allocating workloads, monitoring productivity, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The Bodyshop Manager coordinates with service advisors, workshops, and aftersales teams to ensure efficient vehicle throughput and accurate repair timelines. The role also involves managing parts and materials, controlling costs, maintaining workshop tools and equipment, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer and company guidelines. A key focus is delivering exceptional customer satisfaction by overseeing repair quality, addressing customer concerns, and continuously improving processes and service standards.
Qualifications
- Strong focus on Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to manage customer expectations and address concerns professionally.
- Proven experience in managing Workshops and Body Shops, including workflow planning, resource allocation, and quality control.
- Effective Communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, external partners, and customers.
- Knowledge of Aftersales operations, including service processes, parts coordination, and warranty procedures.
- Experience in automotive body repair, refinishing, and related technical processes.
- Leadership and team management skills, including coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Ability to analyze operational performance, manage budgets, and implement process improvements.
- Proficiency in using workshop management systems and basic office software.
- Relevant technical or vocational qualification in automotive repair or bodyshop management; a diploma or degree in a related field is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a similar supervisory or management role within the automotive industry, ideally in the GCC region.
