Role Description The BIM Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. This role is responsible for coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) activities across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure accurate and aligned project models. Day-to-day tasks include managing BIM workflows, maintaining model standards, performing clash detection, and resolving coordination issues with project teams. The BIM Coordinator will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers, prepare and update BIM execution plans, support teams with BIM-related tools and processes, and contribute to improving digital project delivery practices.
Qualifications
- * Candidates should possess strong BIM Coordination and Building Information Modeling (BIM) skills, including model management and clash detection.
- Candidates should possess Architecture-related skills and understanding of multidisciplinary design coordination.
- Candidates should possess Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) coordination skills and familiarity with integrated building systems.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and communication with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, or similar tools) and familiarity with common data environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with BIM standards, protocols, and quality control processes; prior experience in consultancy or construction projects is an advantage.
