Role Description The Barista & Retailer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Shuwaikh. The individual in this role prepares and serves a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty teas and coffee drinks, following established recipes and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include welcoming customers, taking orders, handling payments, and providing attentive, courteous service throughout the visit. The Barista & Retailer maintains a clean and organized service area, restocks supplies, and ensures proper food handling and safety practices. This role also involves merchandising retail products, supporting promotional displays, and collaborating with team members and supervisors to achieve customer satisfaction and sales goals.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage positively with diverse customers and build repeat business.
* Candidates should possess Barista and Food Preparation skills to craft beverages and snacks consistently and safely according to company standards.
* Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to take orders accurately, explain menu items, and collaborate with team members and management.
* Basic math skills and cash-handling experience to process payments and manage point-of-sale transactions accurately.
* Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a fast-paced environment, and follow hygiene and safety regulations.
* Prior experience in retail, café, or hospitality settings is an advantage but not strictly required.
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred, with willingness to participate in ongoing training and skill development.
