Role Description The Automotive Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Fayetteville, NC. This role involves performing routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements, as well as diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues across a variety of vehicle makes and models. The technician will inspect and service suspension and related systems, complete maintenance and repair orders accurately, and communicate findings and recommendations to service advisors or management. Daily responsibilities include using diagnostic tools, following safety and quality standards, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow. The role may also involve test-driving vehicles to verify repairs and supporting customers with clear, professional explanations of services performed.
Qualifications
* Ability to perform Vehicle Maintenance and Oil Changes safely and efficiently.
* Proficiency in Automotive Repair and general Maintenance & Repair tasks.
* Skills in inspecting, diagnosing, and servicing Suspension components.
* Basic to intermediate diagnostic skills using tools and equipment (e.g., OBD scanners, hand tools, power tools).
* Understanding of automotive safety protocols and commitment to following shop procedures.
* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and reliable time management.
* Ability to read and interpret repair orders, service manuals, and technical information.
* Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
* Prior experience as an automotive technician or completion of relevant automotive training or certification is preferred.
