We are working on behalf of a privately owned, community rooted small animal hospital in Four Oaks, NC that is looking to welcome a full time Associate Veterinarian to its team.
Established in 2014, this standalone clinic has grown steadily alongside a loyal client base and is now expanding with three additional exam rooms, a brand new second surgery suite, a larger lobby, and increased treatment capacity. You would be joining a cohesive team of two veterinarians, a highly experienced DVM owner and a part time doctor with GP and internal medicine training, supported by long tenured RVTs with 4 to 7 years of service, cross trained assistants, and dedicated reception staff.
Turnover here is exceptionally low, and the culture is warm, collaborative, and proudly family oriented. Clinical quality is backed by a strong diagnostic and surgical setup including ultrasound, CR radiography, in house laboratory analyzers for CBC, hematology, clotting and urinalysis, VetScan Imagist, dental equipment, and therapeutic laser. With the hospital actively growing, and even exploring future equine and large animal services, there is genuine scope to help shape the next stage of its development.
Your week balances appointments and surgery across four days plus one Saturday morning per month, with no on call, no after hours, and no emergency shifts. Appointments run 30 to 45 minutes, and each doctor is paired with two dedicated technicians or assistants. New graduates receive mentorship from both doctors, with protected time and a personalized ramp up plan.
Compensation is a straight salary model, with new graduates starting at $100,000 to $120,000 and experienced doctors earning $170,000 to $200,000 depending on skill set.
