What will you do?
As Assistant Head Greenkeeper, you will play an important role in the daily maintenance and presentation of our golf course.
Working alongside the Head Greenkeeper, you will help coordinate the day-to-day work of the greenkeeping team and ensure that maintenance is carried out to a consistently high standard. You will also be hands-on, carrying out a wide range of tasks including mowing, raking, spraying, irrigation, pruning and general course maintenance.
Your work will cover the golf course, driving range and areas around the clubhouse. We are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their work and is motivated to help create and maintain excellent playing conditions.

- You have a passion for working outdoors and an enthusiasm for golf course maintenance.
- You have experience in greenkeeping and are ready to take the next step in your career.
- You enjoy guiding, supporting and helping colleagues improve their work.
- You are comfortable taking responsibility and helping organise daily tasks within the team.
- You are a team player with good communication skills.
- You work accurately, efficiently and with an eye for detail and presentation.
- You have an affinity with machinery and enjoy working with modern greenkeeping equipment.
- You have a flexible attitude towards working hours, including early starts and rotating weekend work.
- You are available to work 40 hours per week.
- You hold a B and/or BE driving licence.
- Knowledge of golf and an understanding of the game is a plus.
