We are looking for a qualified, analytical, and results-oriented Assistant Chief Financial Officer (Assistant CFO) to support the CFO in managing financial operations, strengthening financial controls, and achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the CFO in implementing financial strategies and overseeing financial operations.
- Manage and review budgeting, forecasting, management accounts, and financial reporting.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
- Review financial statements, reconciliations, and performance reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, UAE tax regulations, and internal policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and support financial risk management.
- Develop and improve financial controls, procedures, and reporting systems.
- Supervise finance personnel and coordinate with other departments on financial matters.
- Prepare financial analysis and management reports to support decision-making.
- Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred.
- 10+ years of strong experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a senior supervisory or management role.
- Good knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, cash flow management, and internal controls.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
- UAE work experience is a must.
- Fluency in Arabic is mandatory.
