As an Assistant Bar Manager, you are responsible for assisting in managing the assigned bar to achieve guest satisfaction and quality service while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- * Assist in managing the daily operations of the bar
- Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of all areas of the bar
- Ensure exceptional guest service and maintain high guest satisfaction levels
- Supervise, train, and motivate bar team members to deliver excellent service
- Be involved in the planning of promotions, beverage purchases, and pricing under the supervision of the Cluster Director of Food & Beverage
- Supervise the daily operation under standards fixed by the Hotel Management and F&B Operations
- Control beverage costs, inventory levels, and stock ordering
- Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and compliance with brand standards
- Ensure correct handling of equipment to minimize breakages and losses
- Participate actively in the creation of new drinks and snacks, improve presentations to achieve the overall objectives, and propose variations to the Cluster Director of Food & Beverage
- Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding alcohol service and health & safety requirements.
Experience
- * Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property required
- Pre-opening experience is an advantage
Requirement
- * Proven work experience as an Assistant Bar Manager
- Active listening and effective communication skills
- Flexibility to work in shifts
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
