About the Role
Role Overview An Appian Developer builds scalable business applications using the Appian low-code platform. They work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to automate workflows, integrate systems, and improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications using Appian (interfaces, process models, records, reports)
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Build and optimize workflows
- Integrate Appian with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs, databases)
- Develop reusable components and plug-ins when needed
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, business users)
- Maintain documentation for applications and processes
- Ensure security, scalability, and best practices compliance
Qualifications
- Strong experience with the Appian Platform
- Knowledge of:
- Process Modeling (BPMN)
- Appian (UI development)
- Data modeling & relational databases (SQL)
Required Skills
- Experience with APIs (REST/SOAP)
- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript basics)
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Preferred Skills
- Appian Certification (Associate Developer / Senior Developer)
