Role Description The Anesthesia Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based at Kanad Hospital in Al Ain, providing comprehensive anesthesia services to surgical, obstetric, and pediatric patients. Responsibilities include pre-operative assessment, planning and administering safe anesthesia, monitoring patients intra-operatively, and managing post-anesthesia recovery and pain control. The role involves close collaboration with surgeons, obstetricians, pediatricians, nursing staff, and other allied health professionals to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with hospital protocols and international standards. The Anesthesia Consultant will participate in clinical governance activities, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and support education and training of junior medical staff and other team members. The role also requires adherence to Kanad’s mission and values, with a focus on compassionate care, patient safety, and continuous professional development.
