DescriptionWe are recruiting for Aircraft Mechanic– Light Maintenance to be based in Doha, Qatar.
About The RoleYou are responsible for performing aircraft maintenance activities to support operational requirements in a Line / Light Maintenance environment, as directed by your supervisor. All tasks must be carried out in accordance with company procedures, approved maintenance data, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Perform transit, daily and weekly checks in accordance with approved maintenance data.
- Support A-check activities within the approved scope of work.
- Respond to AOG situations and ensure timely and efficient recovery actions.
- Carry out troubleshooting and fault isolation using approved manuals and technical documentation.
- Perform component replacement, adjustments, and minor repairs within authorized limits.
- Ensure proper completion of Technical Log and Cabin Log entries.
- Comply with MEL/CDL requirements and ensure accurate defect rectification and deferral processes.
- Use AMOS (or applicable maintenance systems) for task tracking, updates, and documentation.
- Read and interpret Aircraft Maintenance Manuals (AMM), IPC, SRM, and other technical publications.
- Follow all safety procedures, including tool control, FOD prevention, and Human Factors principles.
- Ensure full compliance with EASA / QCAA regulations and company procedures.
- Coordinate effectively with Production and support teams to meet operational timelines.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and workplace safety.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the Head of Department.

Qualification
Qualifications - External
- * High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience OR
- Or Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 2 years of job-related experience
- Degree or Equivalent Diploma/License in Aircraft Maintenance.
- Basic ICAO type license.
- Engineering Diploma in Aviation
- Repairing machines or systems using the correct tooling.
- Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to the job.
- Controlling operations of equipment or systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation related to aircraft maintenance.
- Knowledge of cabin interiors fundamentals and relative skills to his area of employment.
