We are looking for an experienced Program Director – Data & AI Transformation to lead large-scale enterprise transformation programs across data, AI, technology, and digital innovation.
The role will be responsible for strategic program leadership, governance, architecture alignment, senior stakeholder management, and building scalable Data & AI capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing complex enterprise transformation programs, advising senior executives, driving enterprise-wide Data & AI initiatives, and building high-performing teams and Centres of Excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Leadership & Governance
- Lead large-scale enterprise transformation programs from strategy through execution and benefits realization.
- Establish and manage program governance frameworks, steering committees, governance forums, and operating rhythms.
- Provide delivery oversight across multiple workstreams, ensuring scope, timelines, quality, risks, and dependencies are effectively managed.
- Drive escalation management and resolution of critical program issues.
- Provide executive-level reporting on program progress, risks, financials, dependencies, and outcomes.
- Ensure quality assurance and adherence to enterprise standards.
2. Data & AI Strategy
- Define and execute enterprise Data & AI strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI and data use cases based on business value, feasibility, and strategic importance.
- Develop AI operating models, governance frameworks, and transformation roadmaps.
- Drive innovation initiatives and adoption of emerging AI and data technologies.
- Establish mechanisms to measure business impact, value realization, and ROI from Data & AI investments.
3. Enterprise Architecture & Technology Strategy
- Provide strategic direction on enterprise architecture and technology alignment across transformation programs.
- Ensure solution architecture aligns with enterprise technology strategy, business objectives, security, and scalability requirements.
- Drive interoperability across applications, data platforms, and technology ecosystems.
- Ensure Data & AI solutions can scale across the enterprise.
4. Executive & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior business and technology leadership.
- Manage relationships with C-suite executives, business leaders, technology leaders, and external partners.
- Lead steering committees and executive governance forums.
- Translate complex technology, data, and AI topics into clear business outcomes and decisions.
- Drive alignment across business units and geographically distributed teams.
5. Transformation & Innovation
- Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives involving Data, AI, Analytics, Automation, and Digital Technologies.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and advanced analytics to improve business performance.
- Establish and scale Data & AI Centres of Excellence.
- Drive adoption, change management, and organizational readiness.
- Track transformation outcomes and ensure realization of expected business benefits.
6. Risk, Financial & Performance Management
- Own program-level risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation management.
- Monitor program budgets, financial performance, and investment outcomes.
- Establish KPIs and success measures for transformation initiatives.
- Ensure programs remain aligned with strategic objectives and expected business value.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
- Strong background in Data & AI transformation, digital transformation, technology strategy, or enterprise architecture.
- Proven experience managing multiple complex workstreams and large cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of modern data platforms, AI/ML, analytics, cloud, and enterprise technology ecosystems.
- Experience developing Data & AI strategies, operating models, governance frameworks, and roadmaps.
- Strong C-suite and executive stakeholder management experience.
- Experience building or scaling Data & AI Centres of Excellence.
- Strong commercial, financial, risk, and benefits-realization experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and program execution levels.
