Wood Couture is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team in Giza, Egypt.

Key Responsibilities
• Process supplier, freight, transportation, customs, warehousing, and logistics-related invoices accurately and on time.
• Verify invoices against purchase orders, delivery notes, shipping documents, and contracts.
• Review freight, customs clearance, transportation, and delivery charges for accuracy.
• Prepare payment schedules and coordinate supplier payments according to approved credit terms.
• Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliations and resolve outstanding balances or discrepancies.
• Prepare AP aging reports and track outstanding liabilities and logistics-related accruals.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate AP records and supporting documentation for audit and tax purposes.
• Ensure compliance with Egyptian accounting standards, tax regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
• Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant Accounts Payable or Finance experience.
• Strong experience in vendor reconciliation, invoice processing, payment management, and AP aging.
• Experience handling logistics, freight, transportation, customs, or supply-chain-related invoices is highly preferred.
• Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, furniture, FF&E, hospitality, or interior fit-out industries will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of Egyptian tax and accounting regulations.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, or equivalent.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• CMA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualifications are an advantage.
• Must be available to join immediately.
